Function

The advisory board provides external advice, assists in the program development and facilitates knowhow transfer and exchange of best practices in diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities in academic leadership and beyond.

Members

Professor Tomas Brage, University of Lund

Professor Tomas Brage is Director of Education at Department of Physics, Lund University, Sweden.

For the last 15 years Professor Brage has been strongly involved in work on Gender and Science, where he is active in several European networks, e.g. as a steering group member of the thematic group for Gender of the League of European Research Universities (LERU) network, the Expert Group of the GENERA and SAGE Horizon 2020 projects, the Expert Advisory Group for Gender and Equality at the National University of Ireland in Galway, and the Southern University of Denmark

Professor Eileen Drew, Trinity College Dublin

Professor Eileen Drew is Director of the Trinity Centre for Gender Equality and Leadership at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Academic leadership, equality and diversity, work/life balance, the gender pay gap are among her main research interests.

During her academic career, Professor Drew has been involved in research, training and consultancy for numerous international gender related projects for the Council of Europe and European Commission. She is currently the Coordinator of the Systemic Action for Gender Equality (SAGE) Horizon 2020 Project.

Alkistis Petropaki, General Manager Advance

Alkistis Petropaki is General Manager of Advance, the leading business association for gender equality in Switzerland, a network of over 120 Swiss companies committed to increasing the share of women in top management.

Alkistis has a University degree in business and psychology and holds an MBA from ESCP-EAP and more than 20 years experience in leading positions in several companies. She strongly believes in the benefits of mixed-gender teams for society, for organizations as well as for individuals.
