Selection Committee

Committee Members

The Selection Committee consists of eight members of the 12 Swiss cantonal and federal universities. They are responsible for the recruitment process of the H.I.T. participants. They develop guidelines, methodology and criteria for the application process.

The Project Manager will attend the Selection Committee meetings. She coordinates the committee’s meeting schedule and supports their committee work.

Committee Tasks

The Selection Committee helps to establish a fair recruitment process regarding methodology and criteria. Members are obliged to comply with and implement the University’s confidentiality policy when dealing with candidate recruitment. They are also responsible for establishing a participant evaluation system to improve the program development.

  • Developing a public relations and communications campaign for program recruitment
  • Developing selection criteria and selection methodology in conjunction with the Steering Committee
  • Shortlisting applicants
  • Providing ranked list and assessment of top candidates
  • Recommending preferred candidates
