H.I.T. Program 2024

This is the third edition of the H.I.T. Program 2021-24, a national program centered on skills and leadership identity training for female full and associate professors from all disciplines across Switzerland.  The H.I.T. Program is structured around leadership training, individual coaching and leadership shadowing, professional networking, and peer-mentoring. Training modules and workshops are led by well-known leadership and academic experts.

The edition 2024 consists of 5-day sessions organized in Geneva, Bern, Lausanne and Zurich and an online session. In addition, as part of the Personalized Leadership Development component of the program, participants will benefit from:

• Leadership coaching: 2 individual sessions with professional coaches
• Leadership shadowing: half-day exchange with top leaders from Swiss academia

Around twenty places are available for female full or associate professors from cantonal and federal Swiss universities, who are interested in academic leadership positions at faculty- and/or university management levels. Due to limited places, a selection process will take place. The participants, selected by a selection committee with members from all partner universities, will be notified before 30 November 2023.

The participation fee of 2’000 CHF covers all program activities, including hotel accommodation for the events organized in Geneva and Lausanne.
